The return of Fantasmic! to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2022 was announced at Destination D23 earlier today, and now we have learned that the nighttime show will also receive a new sequence.
Details for the new segment weren’t given, but it seems it will feature Moana, Aladdin, and Frozen as they are featured in the concept art seen above.
It is unknown if Disneyland’s version of Fantasmic! will also receive the new sequence.

oh goodness, this could probably mean that the Hollywood Studios version of Fantasmic! is getting the 2.0 treatment that Fantasmic in Disneyland got in 2017!! :D
What about Tangled, that film hasn’t gotten presence at Hollywood Studios… :(
i’m so excited Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios is finally getting some improvements, but i wonder if some characters like Mickey Mouse and Scar will have rerecorded voice acting provided by their current voice actors such as Bret Iwan and David Oyelowo…
Maybe we can get a new dragon that doesn’t look like a bunch of ripped up rags…lol
It will be interesting to see how this fits into the overall story. I hope it doesn’t feel like it’s just been crowbarred in.
Wow! I can’t wait. But Aladdin did appear formerly in this show three times. During Bubbles Segment, Princess Segment and Villain Segment, Also Aladdin, Jasmine and Genie appear in the Finale on Steamboat Willie. So I don’ know why they say Aladdin is going to be in the show, since Aladdin was arleady.
