Greetings from the festi-ball! Today is the start of the International Festival of the Holidays and we are excited for all of the festive cheer the day will bring, so let’s get started!
Starting our day off on a Monorail run for our aerial views of the construction sites, automatic doors and tap points have been installed at the entryway to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
The construction walls in front of Guardians at the walkway to World Discovery have been removed and the space is now accessible to walk through.
Construction continues at the old MouseGear where the exterior is being rebuilt.
Back on the ground, festival passports are now available at the entrance to EPCOT although the park maps are still dated for October 1st.
The Wall-E Green Landing Family Play Zone has returned from its Princess theming during Food & Wine Festival.
Heading in to Creations, festival merchandise including a new Spirit Jersey, MagicBand, & more have arrived. The merchandise is also available at Port of Entry.
Three new limited release pins join the collection along with a limited edition 2021 Candlelight Processional pin.
A shiny new gold Christmas tree popcorn bucket is lighting up the Creations popcorn kiosk and features Mickey and Minnie Mouse on the front.
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition 2021 scavenger hunt is available for purchase for $9.99. Find all of the Olafs in each country celebrating different traditions and then turn it in for a prize!
The prizes for the scavenger hunt are not in yet so placeholder prizes will be given out in the meantime.
Another 50th anniversary engravable ID tag is available at the kiosk inside of The Seas pavilion and features a gradient of park icons on a Mickey head.
Piglet was also out today in the green area in between The Land and Imagination pavilions waving to us as we passed by.
A festival exclusive Carolers’ Cold Brew is available at the Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. kiosks around the park.
Before heading into World Showcase, we stopped by the Imagination pavilion to say “Hello!” to Figment, who had finally donned his winter sweater!
Eats and treats line the walkway of World Showcase, over at The Donut Box, a new Annual Passholder souvenir cup is available with this year’s gingerbread milkshake.
The gingerbread display is back at the Rotunda at The American Adventure pavilion.
The annual Holiday Cookie Stroll is back in action, read about our hits and misses as well as the redemption prizes here.
Santa greets guests at The American Adventure Pavilion and takes socially distance photos.
Characters in their holiday attire dot the park, and include Belle with a holly bow, Winnie The Pooh in a snowflake cap, and more!
Storytellers from around the world share their holiday traditions and tales, including a jolly Père Noël in France.
In Canada at The Mill Stage, The Canadian Holiday Voyageurs rock the stage with holiday classics in English and French.
50th anniversary Precious Moments dolls are available at one of the many festival market booths around World Showcase.
The much-anticipated Candlelight Processional returns to high crowds with With Auli’i Cravalho narrating.
Spaceship Earth received a makeover as it lit up with holiday projections for the occasion.
