Welcome to a beautiful November day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. There’s a lot happening as we get ready for the Awesomest Celebration of the Season, so let’s get started and see what’s new today.
Merry Grinchmas! Grinch merchandise has started to take over the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk.
This Feast Mode glass with the Grinch is awesome. The cans of Who Hash are our favorite. Who can resist Who Hash?
We started our day at Islands of Adventure checking out discounted merchandise at the All Hallows Eve Boutique. We’re hearing rumors this could be a year-round spooky store and might even get a creepy Christmas feel to it soon. Let’s hope it’s true!
We went over to the Jurassic World VelociCoaster and took a behind the scenes facilities tour. A Team Member took us on a tour of the queue and pointed out some great details. If there is a Team Member available to take you on a tour, this free tour is great for everyone. If you have kids that aren’t tall enough to ride or someone who isn’t riding, this is a great way for them to still get to see the details of the queue without waiting in line.
We made our way over to Universal Studios Florida next and even though Halloween Horror Nights is over, a few set pieces still linger around the park.
The Holiday Tribute Store is transforming!
If you’d like to have your cartoon photo added to the Holiday Tribute Store, stop by the Park Plaza Holiday Shop and purchase your spot for $125. Check out our post here for more details.
Halloween Nightmare Fuel is gone and Fear Factor Live has been confirmed as permanently closed, so we’re watching and waiting to see what happens in this area now.
A few locations around the park still have the Halloween Horror Nights Freestyle cup.
This new Hello Kitty X Kidrobot plush is available in the Hello Kitty Shop for $45.
Sanrio Cinnamoroll Loungefly are available at the Hello Kitty Shop. The backpack is $82 and the matching wallet is $55.
Jurassic World Dig Jars are available once again inside Studio Sweets. You can read our review of this delicious treat here.
Jurassic World Alive sounds interesting. There are even exclusive in park events.
Enjoying a nice quiet lunch inside Monsters Cafe.
Holiday cheer has arrived in Diagon Alley. The Christmas decoration has begun. Check out our post here for a closer look.
Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour was having some issues with its soft serve machines, but at least they tried. This Orange Marmalade might look a little sad, but it sure was delicious. Full review coming soon!
Too bad we already had ice cream today. The gelato floats from Louie’s Italian Restaurant sound delicious. We’re going to have to get the Sprite and raspberry sorbet next.
The Starbucks in CityWalk has a brand new tumbler. The artwork is similar to the Been There mug and features different icons from around the resort.
Thanks for following along with us today around the parks. Stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates.
