A plethora of new Earl the Squirrel holiday merchandise has arrived early at the Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
This merchandise and more will soon be available at the Holiday Tribute Store.
A non-branded squirrel plush was also put out with the merchandise.
Earl’s Tree Farm Scented Candle – $20
This candle is balsam and pine-scented.
Holiday Blanket – $60
This blanket comes folded up but we had to take a look at the full design.
It features Earl moving a Christmas tree in his red truck, with several Universal easter eggs hidden around him (a hint about the Tribute Store’s theming, according to Team Members).
The children from “E.T.” are flying through the air on their bicycles.
The truck has the “Outatime” license plate from “Back to the Future” on the front. A broken dinosaur egg is in the snow.
The amber holding a mosquito from “Jurassic Park” is an ornament on the tree.
Bruce the shark’s fin from “Jaws” is on the antenna. In Earl’s mailbox is a letter addressed to Isla Nublar.
A globe is also one of the ornaments, representing the Universal icon.
Instead of Earl’s Tree Farm, the truck is frum Amity Tree Farm — Amity is the town terrorized by Bruce the shark. The logo says it was established in 1975, the year “Jaws” was released.
The snowman is wearing a Woody Woodpecker hat and holding a Universal Studios Florida map.
There are even more references, can you identify them all?
Earl the Squirrel Pin – $14
This pin features Earl popping out of a wreath.
Earl “Merry and Nutty” Mug – $15
Though the mug’s design is similar to that of the blanket, it does not include all of the easter eggs.
Earl the Squirrel Snowglobe Magnet – $11
Earl the Squirrel Gift Tag Stickers – $8
This set includes two sheets of gift tag stickers.
Earl the Squirrel Ornament – $12
This wood ornament is slightly three-dimensional.
