PHOTOS, VIDEO: See Cinderella Castle Projections Transform It into a Holiday Wonderland at the Magic Kingdom

Last year, Cinderella Castle’s holiday transformation was accomplished through projections rather than the hanging of the Dream Lights, and several of these projections returned this year to transform the castle once again into a holiday wonderland between the short Beacon of Magic shows.

The first projection we saw is reminiscent of a Christmas sweater, featuring knitted patterns of snowmen, trees, and holly.

The second transformed the castle into an extra-whimsical Christmas castle, with overtones of red and green, polka dots galore, and plenty of wrapping paper.

The final transformation is closest to the Beacon of Magic colors, with blue and gold taking center stage along with some Christmas light patterns to create a regal 50th Anniversary look.

All of these projections can be seen on Cinderella Castle every evening between Beacon of Magic shows, so keep your eyes out on your next visit to the Magic Kingdom. Are you excited to see these projections return, or do you miss the Dream Lights? Either way, let us know in the comments below.
