The Cozy Cone in Disney California Adventure is celebrating the holidays with a new churro treat. Read our review of the cherry-chocolate churro below.

Cherry-Chocolate Churro – $6.29

Classic churro rolled in crushed chocolate cookies and topped with cherry glaze and chocolate chips

As far as Disney’s coated churros go, this one isn’t bad.

The cherry drizzle takes away from the crisp crunch of the churro somewhat but lends a tartness to the treat that’s nice.

This particular churro wasn’t too heavily dusted in cookie crumbles, so it was well-balanced. But we saw others leaving the window drowning in cookies, so it may be the luck of the draw.

Our chocolate chips were melting quickly in the sun.

Overall, this is a good churro, but we would still opt for a classic churro with a crispy crunch.
