*NEW* Nashville Hot Turkey Slider – $7.50
with dill pickle
It’s very plain. That is a slice of white bread on the bottom. There’s not much in the way of flavor in the sauce, which is so thin that it’s hardly detectable. There is a slight touch of spice but not in the way you would expect for hot fried chicken. For someone who doesn’t like spicy, this is the first step to trying something with heat. Otherwise, this is bland and dry. Skip this and go straight for the delicious pot roast below.
Beef Pot Roast on Potato Roll – $8.50
with horseradish cream
This pot roast, returning from 2019, is awesome. We all fought over finishing this, and it was gone quickly. The pot roast is cooked well done and is tender with a great subtle flavor. The potato roll is soft, and the bread-to-meat ratio was perfect. The horseradish sauce was not spicy or overpowering, but it added just enough acidity to make this perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back for this dish throughout the festival run.
Bourbon Cranberry Cocktail – $14.00
Bourbon, Cranberry, and Orange Juice, House-made Cinnamon-Sugar Syrup, with Cranberry garnish
This bourbon cocktail is another A+, coming from a bourbon lover and two non-bourbon lovers. It’s a bit on the sweeter side and does not taste of bourbon at all. It’s like a warm holiday hug in a plastic cup! None of us could pinpoint the flavor, but we imagine this is what holiday potpourri would taste like in the best way. There’s a subtle aftertaste of cinnamon and cranberry. We will get this item multiple times this year.
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company Ceylon Black Tea Cold Brew, Prickly Pear Purée, and House-made Lemonade
Sweet and tart, this drink was nice and refreshing for this desert Christmas we’re having today. It’s 90° here, so having a cooling drink is a nice treat, if not very Christmasy. The black tea is almost undetectable, so it’s just a lemonade flavor. It’s not quite what was advertised, but we would still get it again.
