Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs is serving a donut mash-up of sweet potato and pecan pie for the holiday week.
This donut is available through Sunday, November 28.
Sweet Potato Pecan Pie Donut – $6.50
Cinnamon-sugar dusted sweet potato fries, crunchy candied pecans, and sweet-salty bacon crown a plump glazed donut that is finished with a marshmallow drizzle
This was too sweet, even for a fan of sweet potatoes.
As usual, the donut itself was well-made. It was just soft enough and cooked through.
Other than being too sweet, the sweet potatoes were just fine. The cinnamon sugar and marshmallow glaze add even more sweetness.
The nuts added a great crunch. They were a good size, too.
While all the flavors were on point, there were too many toppings. We could only eat a few bites before the brown sugar component was too much.
This could have been a great donut but it was ultimately too much.
