It’s a rare day when the Venetian Gondolas canals at Tokyo DisneySea see anything other than gondolas and the occasional stray cell phone in the water, so it was quite the surprise the other day when a Twitter user at the park caught a Cast Member swimming through the canals.

Twitter user @scholastica911 posted a video Saturday afternoon of a Cast Member in the Venetian Gondolas costume swimming through the canals, clutching an astray oar in one hand and one of the park’s life preservers with the other. Life preservers are hanging in convenient and prominent locations around all waterways at Tokyo DisneySea in case guests or Cast Members fall into the water.

We do know that the Cast Member made it safely out of the water shortly after.
