VIDEO: Watch the Return of Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights, Marking 1st Disney Nighttime Parade Post-COVID Closures

Nighttime parades are somewhat of a rarity at the Disney parks these days, with only two having a consistently performing parade before the COVID-19 closures. This week, the first of those returned with Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights glowing down the streets of Tokyo Disneyland once more! And we were on-site to capture one of the first performances, complete with the new, more inclusive opening announcement. You can watch in shimmering 4K on our YouTube channel below.

You might’ve noticed a few changes (outside of the announcement, of course). The most prominent is that there are no dancers between floats. But also, some characters are missing due to physical distancing requirements. Aladdin and Jasmine are together but separated by a plastic screen.
