Universal has rearranged Island Market & Export Candy Shoppe to emphasize candy and confections instead of merchandise.
Island Market & Export Candy Shoppe is in Port of Entry at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
As advertised in the windows, Island Market & Export is known for its fudge.
When we stopped by earlier this week, the shop was still in the process of being refurbished. Team Members were discussing the changes.
Confectionery cases used to be in a circle immediately at the entrance of the shop.
This is what those cases and counters looked like before.
There is now a small display of merchandise at the entrance.
There’s now more candy and less merchandise, making the store feel more like an actual candy shop.
Confectionery cases are lined up against the back wall.
This wall used to house merchandise but they have moved the bulk candy here.
The cases are filled with cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and more.
The Fudge Factory remains in the corner.
Fudge is on display behind glass panes.
