Painting seems to be completed on one side of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind entrance building in EPCOT, while the other side continues to be repainted.
The back left corner of the building has several squares of light blue.
One (and a half) square is still white.
This column has a line of scoring on it.
A small hole is visible on one column, but it has been painted over.
The tops of the columns remain damaged.
These columns will presumably be repainted black soon.
There are planters next to the construction walls at the front of the building.
We also noticed a bubbled spot near the top of the second column.
The columns on the opposite side of the building are now all black.
They have white futuristic designs on the sides of them.
This seems to be the final design for the columns.
Meanwhile, panels are being installed on the front of the building.

The new look definitely suits the franchise but it’s kind of sad to see the loss of the environmentally friendly features like the solar panels on the roof and the very dark/black color scheme which doesn’t reflect light like lighter colors/painting roofs white, etc. Just doesn’t really look Epcot friendly/optimistic. If the ship is as colorful as the concept it will surely stand out though!
This update of the Guardians of the Galaxy : Cosmic Rewind will be before the opening in the Summer of 2022!
