Greetings from the Universal Orlando Resort! It’s another beautiful day to be out enjoying all the holiday activities. Let’s get going and check out what’s happening today.
As we pulled in to park today, we noticed the price for Prime Parking has jumped up to $60. Be aware of the price increase if you’re visiting for the holidays.
At Islands of Adventure, we spotted the trolley making a lap on the purple track and discovered that the Beach side of the attraction has reopened. Did you know this attraction has two train tracks that tell different stories and take you on a different path? This track had been closed due to the Caro-Seuss-el refurbishment but is now open for the peak holiday season. Now we can get a better view of what’s happening with Caro-Seuss-el.
See you next year, Caro-Seuss-el. This looks like an intense project. Check out more photos in our post here.
30 Years 30 Fears lives on inside the All Hallows Holiday Boutique in the Lost Continent. Chance cake jars, without cake, are now being sold for $5 each. Unfortunately, they did not have any Jack jars available.
The merchandise discount for HHN has been creeping up and now a few items are 70% off.
It’s funny how early in the morning, you can be stuck in a large crowd one minute and then turn a corner and wonder where everyone went. We always recommend people get to the parks early!
Thunder Falls Terrace is attempting to keep their tables reserved for guests dining at the restaurant. Reserved signs have been added to the outdoor seating area as well as rope barriers.
As we entered Universal Studios Florida, we saw that the popcorn stand with caramel and cheddar popcorn has reopened. Unfortunately, they don’t have the flavored popcorn yet, but it should be available soon. You can find caramel corn at the popcorn cart at the exit of Islands of Adventure, too.
Inside Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop, we spotted a new 2021 Chocolate Frog Wizard Card. Ignatia Wildsmith can be found inside the Chocolate Frogs marked with a 2021 gold stamp.
Hogwarts House mascot plush have been restocked just in time for Christmas. These are very popular, so grab one while you can!
Some park-used holiday decor is available in the Prop Shop. If you have some last minute decorating to do, you can find plenty of garland and trees for sale here.
Shrek 4-D farewell shirts are almost completely sold out and Team Members are unsure if they will be getting more. Only a few shirts in small remain.
We can’t get enough of Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees during the holidays. Holiday Spell is such a fun show and it even snows in Diagon Alley!
Thanks for joining us on this fabulous day at the Universal Orlando Resort. We’re going to get out of here, but be sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today for more updates!
Glad Universal isn’t my thing. Can’t blame them. They have probably noticed Disney nickle and diming their guests, and they want a piece of the action.
