Celebrate the holidays at Disney’s Contemporary Resort with a new chocolate peppermint yule log.

This treat is available at Contempo Café.

Chocolate Peppermint Yule Log – $5.49

Chocolate Chiffon with Peppermint Mousse and Chocolate Ganache

This is peppermint mousse covered in dark chocolate ganache and placed on a super thin layer of chocolate cake. It’s delicious!

The peppermint does not overpower the chocolate. The milk and dark chocolates complement each other perfectly. The gingerbread man was a piece of milk chocolate.

These decorative side pieces were thin milk chocolate and not really necessary but cute.

The whole dessert tastes like a peppermint mocha. The layer of chocolate cake added a bit of texture to the mousse and helped complete the dessert.

The red circle on top was white chocolate with a peppermint whipped topping. These were unnecessary. The whipped topping was grainy.

This was overall a delicious, decadent dessert and we would definitely get it again. If you want to try it for yourself, you can find it at the Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!
