Space Mountain, one of the most popular attractions at the Magic Kingdom, has yet to open today, December 4, 2021. When the park opened at 8:30 a.m., the attraction did not open along with it.
As of 1 p.m., Space Mountain is still closed.
Cast Members are stationed in front of the ride’s entrance to direct guests to other attractions.
The empty attraction can be seen from the PeopleMover.
No reason for the closure has been announced, with the attraction listed as “temporarily closed” on My Disney Experience.
