Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster did not open with Disney’s Hollywood Studios this morning and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance went down within a few hours of opening.
In Disney Genie, the standby lines for both attractions are “not currently available.”
Guests can still select a Lightning Lane return time with Genie+ for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, however, according to a Cast Member, it is closed for technical difficulties and may not open today.
Lightning Lane access is sold out for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which did open at 7:30 a.m. It was down for technical difficulties by 9:00 a.m. and a Cast Member told guests to come back later.

We walked up to Rise just as they were cutting the line off. People standing there all the way back to the Muppets side of the tunnel for a good amount of time. We went to Smuggler’s run and Waited in standby for nearly two hours. Getting better or worse with Genie+?
A family in line in front of us at SR were given a lightening lane return pass for today only but it may not open at all.
Rise is back open but the standby is over 2 hours. They’re allowing all the people from this morning who were in line go back in through the lightning Lane and anyone waiting in line on standby is basically not moving.
We’re on our way Park hopping because Slinky dog and rockin roller coaster are down.
