With parking lot trams set to return to Disneyland Resort soon, the Downtown Disney District tram station is undergoing a major renovation to prepare for their return.

The brand name Wirtgen on this truck appears to indicate that the “dirt” you see is asphalt being removed and poured into a dump truck to be hauled away.
Here you can see a close up of the green construction fencing dividing the site from guest walking paths.
Guest parking trams normally transport guests from the theme park entrances to the Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures. The trams have not resumed operations since Disneyland Resort reopened after the COVID-19 closure but their return was announced last year for “early 2022”.
