Just last week, we reported how Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was finally giving out cardboard carrying cases again for guests who purchase their own droid. Well, that was seemingly short-lived because plastic bags are once again replacing the carrying cases.
You can see a Cast Member here packaging a young Jedi’s new droid in a plastic bag.

My family just bought 2 drops this morning and were given the cardboard boxes. I don’t see what the big deal is? I bought one for me and one for my child. Once we get home the box is going in the trash anyway. If you want to collect cardboard I will sell you my boxes for 300 bucks each. The Droid is what I bought, I don’t care about cardboard. Now for the light sabers ok make a stink, they are nice, padded and actually serve a purpose when you get home
I wonder why Disneyland isn’t having these problems. They even gave out hats on New Year’s Eve. WDW shouldn’t be cheap, they opened a lot sooner than Disneyland & made more money. Maybe it’s supply & demand.
This was not the case when I built one on Thursday
