Today we’re saying “Goodbye, Earl” as it’s the final day of operation for Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney District.
A few guests were eating at the restaurant for the final time.
We noticed many things covered and crossed out on the menu.
Nearby, Sugarboo & Co. is now closed, after having its final day of operation on January 15.
A sign outside lets guests know it is not available.
We peeked through the windows and could see that all of the merchandise had been cleared out.
Some shelves and moving materials remained.
The neighboring Starbucks will close on January 29. The closures are all to make way for open event space.

A shame about Earl of Sandwich. Was a decent alternative for breakfast in the morning – especially when staying at the hotel. That whole end of Downtown Disney is just a mess now. Lots of excellent opportunities to improve it but instead – an “open event space”.
Such a shame about EoS, we only get to Disney once a year and try to eat there multiple times as we don’t have an EoS in our area. We enjoyed the sandwiches an awful lot and coming from me, a non-sandwich fan that means it was really delicious food.
Any idea what food establishment will go there?
Thank-you.
Rumor has it that Earls might come back as a food truck.
Will definitely miss Earl of Sandwich. I loved the Holiday turkey sandwich. We ate Breakfast sandwiches there when at spending a day at California Adventure! It will be missed!!!
