The entire façade of Poseidon’s Fury in Universal’s Islands of Adventure has now been repainted a seafoam green color.
Repainting began last month with the façade’s archways. The broken seal at the top of the building later got some gold paint, and colors are being added to the columns.
According to the characters guests can now meet outside the attraction, Poseidon’s Fury may reopen sometime next month.
Some areas of the ruins don’t yet match the new color scheme, so we expect to see more painting in the coming days and weeks.
The tops of all four columns are now brown, though some have yet to be completely painted. They all have red-orange bands on them too.

Frankly, the islands of adventure was shockingly dated. I had never been to Uni Orlando before. While the 2 Harry Potter parks were above and beyond, in a class all of their own in the amusement park world in terms of excellence at immersion. What distracted us from the awe inspiring HP parks was the entry into Islands of Adventure – the mustard colored facade, it was just odd and ugly. That entry or front of the park needs to be resurfaced, rethemed.
