Universal Reportedly Aiming to Reopen Poseidon’s Fury in February 2022 at Islands of Adventure

According to the characters now greeting guests outside of Poseidon’s Fury in Universal’s Islands of Adventure, the attraction may reopen in February 2022.

While remaining in character, Taylor told us that tours would resume in February and that we could get in line now.

This is not an official announcement and should be taken with a grain of salt as the actors may not be fully informed about a reopening.

Poseidon’s Fury has been closed since last summer and is currently undergoing refurbishment.

  1. I was hoping they were changing the entire attraction. This has never been a fan favorite and is so dated now it’s impossible that a refurbishment will do the trick.

Looking forward to Universal retheming the whole area. It sticks out like a sore thumb since the majority of that Island was turned into Harry Potter.

I think most were hoping this would become the Zelda attraction (and mini-land) as a prelude to Super Nintendo World at Epic.
