*NEW* Garlic Noodles – $7.00
Long noodles tossed in a zesty garlic butter with parmesan
This dish almost tastes like something one might find in an Italian restaurant rather than a Lunar New Year Festival.
Overall, these were fantastic, with a heavy garlic flavor. Wearing a mask around the park after eating a bowl of these may prove challenging. Overall, we would definitely get them again.
*NEW* Spicy Pork Dandan Noodles – $7.50
Pan-fried noodles with ground pork and a spicy tri-chile blend sauce
These are surprisingly spicy noodles. The noodles are greasy and it’s not enjoyable enough to warrant this much spice.
There are a lot of different dishes to try here at the festival, so eating this dish early on may make taste-testing other options difficult due to the spice.
Opt for the garlic noodles instead, because they’re heavy on the flavor and light on spice.
*NEW* Salted Pistachio Cold Brew – $6.50
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. French Bistro Blend Coffee, Orange Blossom Honey Syrup, Oat Milk, Salted Pistachio Foam
Pistachio is having a moment right now and Disney is just the latest to get on board this train.
Unfortunately, this is one of the weaker drinks we’ve had. It doesn’t really even taste like coffee. It just tastes like sweet pistachios. It’s not unpleasant, but unfortunately any of the options over at Joffrey’s are better than this one.
*NEW* Young Master Brewery Neon City Pale Ale with Mandarin and Bergamot Zest, China (5.2% ABV) – $13.25
From Young Master Brewery: “Neon City is a versatile pale ale suitable for all day and all season drinking. Accents of Mandarin Peel and Bergamot reflects our home city, Hong Kong’s dual Chinese and English heritage. These bright citrusy notes layered on an elegantly balanced pale ale pairs perfectly with a wide range of Asian flavors.”
