Indiana Jones Adventure to Undergo Brief Refurbishment in March at Disneyland

The popular Indiana Jones Adventure will be closed briefly in March for a standard refurbishment. The attraction will be unavailable from March 8 through March 11.

Spring refurbishments are common at Disneyland, and Indiana Jones Adventure is joining the Matterhorn Bobsleds, Splash Mountain, and Pirates of the Caribbean on the schedule.

As a reminder, the Disneyland Monorail will also be closed from February 14 through March 6 as construction begins on the reimagined west side of Downtown Disney District.

  1. I doubt they will fix the LCU issue with the jeeps or anything else. But no worries. I will try to get the correct info out to G&S so they can possibly fix it.

  2. Just got back from a multi day trip…Day 1 we rope dropped Indy, subsequently got booted from the line because the ride would be down for an “indefinite” amount of time…Second attempt later that day resulted in a breakdown right after we loaded into the vehicles…

Day 2 we attempted the ride twice and both times it was down…

We’re on day three and were finally to get a ride in on this thing………..Well most of a ride anyway…Got all the way through to the boulder section and the ride stalled right before the drop for about 10 minutes…

This is all not including the issues we experienced on multiple other rides (Radiator Springs had some serious issues and Haunted Mansion hasn’t had hitching ghost for how long now?)…

All that being said Indy needs some serious upgrades…For a time it was easily the best ride in the park but damn if it’s not really showing it’s age in recent, well over a decade I guess…It’s gotten to the point that it’s much more likely for a person to experience an issue during their ride rather having a smooth go of it…And that’s an assessment for multiple rides in the parks at this point unfortunately…
