*NEW* BLT Scone with Nueske’s Applewood-smoked Bacon, Sundried Tomato, and Basil – $5.00
This is a great scone! It wasn’t dry, although it crumbled when we broke into it.
The bacon jam tasted homemade, with plenty of bacon, onions and a lingering sweetness.
This was another festival winner!
Dark Chocolate Raspberry Tart with Whipped Cream – $4.50
When we last saw this tart, we thought it was absolutely sublime. Unfortunately, time has not been kind. Frankly, we found it to be unremarkable. It’s a basic counter service treat with subtle dark chocolate flavors. Even more subtle was hint of raspberry. The whipped topping adds some needed sweetness, but overall, this isn’t worth the money.
3 Daughters Brewing Pink Lemonade Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL (5.5% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.
From correspondence with 3 Daughters Brewing: “In this fruity, refreshing cider, pops of bright berry mix with dry apple to create a delightfully delicious experience for the taste buds. This one takes you straight to an afternoon in the summer shade.”
Bold Rock Watermelon Hard Cider, Nellysford, VA (4.7% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.
From Bold Rock: “Bold Rock Watermelon Cider blends the iconic summer refreshment of watermelon with deliciously crisp Blue Ridge apple juice. The taste profile is perfect for warm weather enjoyment and allows the best of watermelon and apples to shine through.”
Blake’s Hard Cider Co. Triple Jam Hard Cider, Armada, MI (6.5% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.
From Blake’s Hard Cider Co.: “Inspired by the juicy berries we grow on our farm each summer, Triple Jam is the perfect balance of ripe sweetness with bold fruit aromatics. Bursting with strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries, this semi-sweet captivates the nuance of our farm, in each and every taste.”
Samuel Smith Old Brewery Pure Brewed Organic Lager, Tadcaster, United Kingdom (5.0% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.
From Samuel Smith Old Brewery: “Brewed with great care using only organic malted barley, organic hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate [flavor] and soft hop-character finish.”

Cider Flight – $10.00
We were very pleased with this flight. The 3 Daughters Brewing Pink Lemonade Hard Cider had a very faint taste of pink lemonade, but we liked how restrained it was. The name makes you think it’s going to be overly sweet, but it’s a great, balanced cider. The Bold Rock Watermelon Hard Cider is the sweetest cider of the three available. It wasn’t overbearingly over-the-top in sugar, but it was sweet enough to make us feel like “summer is coming” in a cup. The Blake’s Hard Cider Co. Triple Jam Hard Cider was the most tart of the three, bordering on the flavor of a sour beer. It definitely has a “jammy” taste, tasting like a nice fruit jam as opposed to just the taste of berries and apples jammed together.
