Walt Disney World Preparing to Bring Back Non-Distanced Character Meet and Greets After Easter

Walt Disney World is reportedly getting ready to bring back standard character meet and greets without physical distancing as soon as mid-April.

An official announcement has not been made, but sources indicate guests will once again be able to hug characters sometime after Easter weekend (April 17).

For now, Walt Disney World has “character sightings,” with the characters appearing at least six feet away from guests. Many indoor character sightings have returned with this distancing, though some characters still only greet guests outside.

  1. I really hope Doc McStuffins and Vampirina will still be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this whole year because I don’t want to miss my (last) chance to hug them again.
