It’s time for another round of speculations! The latest map of potential mazes and scare zones for Halloween Horror Nights 2022 at Universal Studios Hollywood is now available. Thanks to @HNNightmares on Twitter, we have an updated map for possible mazes at this year’s event.
Mazes
- Candyman
- The Evil Dead
- La Llorona
- Scarecrow
- An American Werewolf in London
- Universal Monsters The Mummy vs. Wolfman
- The Weeknd
- Killer Klowns from Outer Space 2
- Terror Tram: Hollywood Harry
No scare zones are listed, and Jabbawockeez is still listed as a potential show.
Candyman is the latest addition to this map, replacing “Nope” from the first version. As a reminder, these maps are only based on speculation and will continue to change as the event approaches. What do you think of this lineup for Universal Studios Hollywood? Are you planning to attend Halloween Horror Nights 2022?

At first I thought they were going to do The Sandman, but Netflix hasn’t released it yet, so next year it could be a possibility. (Also I’m not sure if Neil Gaiman would be down for that)
Still waiting for an Attack the Block maze though it might not happen- and if they do Stranger Things this year, I hope they make it good and scary
Just curious as to why Universal Studios Hollywood hasn’t released the event calendar for HHN for 2022. The one for USO has been posted for almost 2 months now. I’m pulling a family vacation together for Hollywood and would like to make sure that the nights were planning will be covered. We’ve been to HHN at USO the past 12 years and this will be our first one at USH.
I would think they would have done Stranger things cause of the finale season and Chucky since they had the series this year and Scream and Halloween since they’re both out this year!
