Greetings from the Universal Orlando Resort! It’s a bright, sunny day, and we’re ready to roll. First stop of the day is to do a little shopping at the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk.
With the new Jurassic World movie coming soon, we’re anticipating new merchandise to hit the shelves soon. Owen Grady has made an adorable plush debut and can be yours for $17. The raptor claw marks on the shirt are a great little detail.
There’s a new Universal Studios mug with vivid rainbow colors.
Let’s make our way over to Islands of Adventure and see what’s happening today.
Finally, we have a new popcorn bucket! Grab this Minion popcorn bucket and get refills around the parks for just $2.19.
It’s a busy day, and we’re seeing long lines for food around the parks. Luckily, they seem to move pretty quickly.
It’s a beautiful day for a ride on VelociCoaster. Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure had a wait time of 130 minutes, but VelociCoaster was only 45 minutes.
It’s so hot today. Guests are getting creative with ways to cool down!
For such a busy day, two food locations in Seuss Landing were closed today. Moose Juice Goose Juice, and Green Eggs and Ham were both closed, but nobody seemed to know why. Let’s hope they reopen soon! We’re craving some delicious tots.
It’s a beautiful sunny day. Make sure you stay hydrated and pack sunscreen!
Let’s check out what’s happening around Universal Studios Florida.
Wait times have been high for attractions in both parks. It seemed like 70 minutes was about the average wait for most of the popular rides.
Did you know you can get a unique Hello Kitty postmark if you mail something from the Hello Kitty Shop? There are always postmarks for the Owl Post in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley inside Globus Mundi. You can purchase postage stamps, but you will have to buy an entire sheet. Bring your own stamps to mail with, or plan to send a lot of postcards!
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for following us around the parks today. We’ll be back again soon!
