Pixar has released another trailer and poster for “Lightyear,” which will be in theaters on June 17, 2022.
The new trailer reveals more information about the plot of the film, specifically that Buzz (the astronaut who inspired the toy Buzz Lightyear) accidentally travels sixty-two years into the future.
The film is set to have a same-sex kiss in it that was originally removed with Uzo Aduba’s character Hawthorne, who has a meaningful relationship with another woman. We know now that there are two Hawthornes, one the granddaughter of the other, so it’s not clear which one will have the kiss.
