Disney+ Developing New ‘Daredevil’ Series Produced By Matt Corman and Chris Ord

Disney+ is developing a new “Daredevil” series, with Matt Corman and Chris Ord attached to write and executive produce, Variety reports.

Corman and Ord are known for creating USA series “Covert Affairs.” They have also worked on “The Enemy Within,” “The Brave,” and “Containment.”

No other details have been released about the new series, including whether or not the new series would see the return of Charlie Cox as the title character. Cox portrayed Matt Murdock a.k.a. The Netflix shows were originally considered part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but their status as canon has been murky. Still, the appearances of Cox and D’Onofrio in recent projects are promising.

Representatives for Corman and Ord declined to comment in response to Variety.
