Twitter user @DLPRescueRangers shared a video from inside the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris, which is currently undergoing a massive renovation. The video allows us to see what remains of the former Founders Club restaurant and the gorgeous view from it.
The Disneyland Hotel in Paris has been undergoing refurbishment for some time. Imagineers revealed a new logo and details of the renovations of the resort last month. As you can see in the video, they have stripped interiors all the way down to the studs to be completely reimagined.
The guest rooms will have “royal stories” and a more contemporary style. The stories will be woven through lots of little details. As an example, they described a mirror surrounded by a gold frame inspired by Rapunzel’s hair.

This hotel was built to an incredibly high standard. There was nothing like a stay in a Castle Club park view room or suite. The hotel needed touchup refurbishment only. I fear the finished product will not recapture the gravitas and quality of traditional Disney but instead perpetuate excessive and garish IP and substandard quality with generic finish out in lieu of its former Victorian-esque glory.
Seems to me you haven’t been there in a while. The hotel desperately needed upgrading. It was still stuck in the 90’s and was starting to show its age making the price point of the hotel extremely overpriced for what you endrd up getting
Absolutely. I feel the same. Your comment was absolutely right. This will end up being horribly over the top. This hotel was an extension of Main Street, and the theme always worked. The hotel was always massively booked. It will just become a horrible princess freak show now. And the prices will probably increase massively
Look over here, no over there. K
Sounds like they plan on destroying this hotel like they’re planning on doing with the Grand Floridian.
