Celebrate Pride Month with a colorful cake roll available at select Walt Disney World Resorts. We swung by Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort to give it a try.

Vanilla Cake Roll with Lemon Cream Cheese Filling and White Chocolate Décor
The Rainbow of Pride cake roll is aesthetically beautiful and vibrant. It’s a cute size for an after-pool snack or a reward for surviving the parks. The cake itself is vanilla, although our was a bit stale. It tasted slightly of refridgerated air.
There was a great balance of icing and cake. The cream cheese frosting was perfectly light with a soft hint of lemon. In other words, it tasted exactly like summer.
The sprinkles provided a little bit of crunch to the soft dessert. The variety of textures certainly added to the overall enjoyment of the cake roll. As did the small dollop of whipped cream on the side where the white chocolate medallion was attached.
The tasty little chocolate was painted with the rainbow pride flag.
Overall this was a pretty decent dessert! The only negatives were the chalky aftertaste left behind by too much food coloring and the fridge taste from being on display for too long.
We might get this again but we’re not running back for it.
Overall, this Rainbow of Pride cake roll is a great summer snack, but it’s not something worth waiting in line for.
