Disneyland Paris Cutting Holes in Garden Hoses on Main Street to Combat Extreme Heat

With record-breaking heat hitting France this week, Disneyland Paris is combatting the temperature by poking holes in garden hoses and letting them spray guests on Main Street, U.S.A.

The thick hose was in a planter behind a fence, but the water sprayed far enough to reach guests on the sidewalk.

According to Reuters, some areas of France exceeded 40 degrees Celsius, or 104 degrees Fahrenheit, yesterday. The country is currently battling wildfires to the west and south. Disneyland Paris is just outside the capital city, in Chessy, which is currently 104 degrees at 4:45 p.m. local time, according to Weather.com.
