A quick trip down Disney’s Boardwalk revealed some big renovations at the local eateries. The BoardWalk Bakery is currently closed to become BoardWalk Deli, while construction continues outside Trattoria al Forno. Just down the lane, ESPN Club being turned into the Cake Bake Shop.
Trattoria al Forno is still open despite the planters blocking the normal entrance.
A sign out front revealed the restaurant could be accessed via the Flying Fish.
Electrical cords run underneath the planters to where the crews are working.
The sign here only shows the menu. But you can glimpse the construction through the planters. Seems like they might be replacing the wooden boards.
Whatever they are doing to the floor over there is requiring a bit of clean up. Water occasionally washed out from beneath the plant barriers.
Just a bit down the way, the BoardWalk Bakery is completely closed as it is a complete re-do.
BoardWalk Bakery is being turned into a deli and sandwich shop. The ESPN Club is to be replaced by the Cake Bake Shop.
Through the planters, we can see a construction crew member replacing the wooden boards.
