Ahoy, mateys! Even though there’s so much to do while cruising aboard the Disney Wish, sometimes you need a place to just rest your head for a bit. And if you’re a bit more budget-conscious, you might choose to go for an Interior Stateroom. So let’s check out one of these interior rooms and all the details and amenities within!

Our particular stateroom was number 9000, right at the bow of the ship. The room placard features Archimedes from “The Sword in the Stone.”

The room itself is of course not very large, with the most visible example of that being the extremely tight space between the fold-out sofa and the entrance area.

There’s a good amount of storage space inside the room next to a small vanity.

The vanity includes some glasses, a stool, and some drawers. Resting on the desk is a gift for being on an inaugural sailing of the Disney Wish.

Within the drawers we see a hair dryer and a protective mat for curling irons and other heated styling tools.

The right drawer contains stationery and some door hangers.

And finally we have a mini-fridge on the bottom, next to where the stool slides in.

The glass covers bear the Disney Cruise Line logo.

Inside of the storage there’s some hanging space including robes, as well as quite a few shelves. Life jackets are stored at the very top.

Inside is also a safe with a digital code lock.

The desk is equipped with plenty of outlets — type A for the United States and Japan primarily so international guests should bring an outlet converter. USB type A and C ports are also available.

The fold-out sofa has a table which can be moved easily.

Sheets and a pillow are hidden behind the sofa, but folding it down takes a bit of strength.

As the room is themed to “The Princess and the Frog”, artwork featuring Tiana is present including above the fold-out sofa.

The bathroom is quite compact. Fortunately there’s a fairly large mirror for primping and grooming before you start your cruise day. It of course has a sink, shower, and toilet, with ample counter space for whatever toiletries you may have brought.

Shelves above contain extra towels, body oil, and lotion.

The combination bath/shower comes with refillable body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Extra shelf space is available if you prefer to bring anything yourself.

Baths are also an option if you wish, although it’s a bit small of a tub.

The bed itself is a double, with a privacy curtain available if you’re sharing the room.

The bed has an excellent Disney Wish bed runner in sea foam green and white. The “Wish” logo takes center stage, framed on top and bottom by the Disney Cruise Line logo.

Above the bed hangs a beautiful art piece featuring Tiana and Naveen kissing in the bayou surrounded by their animal friends.

The pillowcase features a brown lining around where you’ll put your head.

The bed spread itself also features the Disney Cruise Line logo inlaid.

The TV is curiously located to the left of the bed. An interesting design choice for sure.

The lamp shade also features an inlaid Disney design.

There’s a drawer as well.

The carpet has a blue and white pattern with some clover and floral patterns inlaid.

For you Americans out there, the right side has USB type-A and C ports and two standard type-A plugs used in the US and Japan.

The rather narrow passage out does make things a bit tight, but it’s still quite a nice room. You can learn a bit more about the “Princess and the Frog” Interior Stateroom on the Disney Wish through our video tour below.
