Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure begins tonight and we have picked up our guide map and treat bags! Let’s take a look at this year’s designs.
One side of the treat bag features the silhouettes of the Sanderson Sisters flying across a full moon, advertising “Hocus Pocus 2” premiering later this month.
The other side advertises Hallowstream on Disney+, their collection of Halloween-related movies, TV shows, and specials.
A Mickey jack-o’-lantern, candy corn, and the words “trick or treat” are on the sides.
These treat bags are the usual soft plastic, unlike Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary reusable canvas bags available at this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
The map features Oogie Boogie on the front, as well as an image of the entrance to Disney California Adventure, with Oogie, bats, and a full moon above the gates.
The exterior of the map also advertises Hallowstream, sponsor Mars Wrigley, and 31 Nights of Halloween on Freeform.
It includes information on event photos, transportation, health and safety, and the Disneyland App.
Special event dining opportunities are available at Wine Country Trattoria and Sonoma Terrace.
A picture of the Carthay Circle tower decked out with decorations and projections is featured on the map.
The inside has the actual map and a list of entertainment.
The entertainment includes Villains Grove, the Headless Horseman, Frightfully Fun Parade, treat trails, Mickey’s Trick and Treat dance party, and photo opportunities.
These are all labeled on the map with special icons.
Treat trails are labeled with bubbling cauldrons. Mickey’s Trick and Treat has a large Mickey pumpkin symbol.
Photo ops are labeled with a camera icon.
The beginning and end of Frightfully Fun Parade are labeled, with a dotted line showing the parade route.
Villains Grove takes over the Redwood Challenge Trail at dusk.
