As severe weather conditions are expected to impact the Central Florida theme parks in the coming days due to Hurricane Ian, the Walt Disney World Resort confirmed that Guests are currently not being charged dining cancellation fees at any on-site restaurants.
While dining cancellation fees will be waived until further notice, guests should be sure to reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort to confirm as fees may be reinstated at any time.
Fees are also being waved when it comes to resort hotel reservations:
- Due to potential weather impacts to guest travel plans, change and cancellation fees imposed by Disney will be waived for check-in dates of 9/26-10/3.
- Most room-only and vacation packages can be modified, or cancelled online, including changes to travel dates, without fees. Packages including air transportation or other services provided by third parties, or those with travel protection, cannot be modified or cancelled online. For Guests with these reservations, please call Disney for assistance.

DisneyWorld Park is REFUSING to refund our tickets during a HURRICANE, so sad and unethical!!!!! The airlines canceled our flights and refunded us. We live across the US and will never be in the area in the future.
