PHOTO REPORT: Magic Kingdom 8/31/22 (Halloween 2022 Minnie Ear Headband, Star Wars Open Edition Pins, Low Crowds, & More)

Royal greetings from Magic Kingdom! Today we are on the hunt for all things new. We are planning on doing some shopping and reporting on crowd levels. Let’s get started!

Walking down Main Street, U.S.A. crowd levels looked very low. We will be sure to report on more of the crowd levels as we go around the park today.

There is plenty of Halloween merchandise available in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom. We spotted a brand new pair of Halloween ears today!

The 2022 Halloween Minnie ear headband has made its way to Magic Kingdom. We found this spooky pair of ears in the Emporium. The ears feature classic symbols of Halloween, like ghosts, pumpkins, and candy. The orange sequined bow features the cutest little ghost with Mickey ears. Hopefully this is a sign that more Halloween merchandise will be arriving soon!

In the Emporium there were six new open edition Star Wars pins to add to your collection. This includes a Star Wars Millennium Falcon pin, R2-D2 trash pin, and Ewok Expeditions pin.

There was also a Camp Dagobah pin, and two Grogu pins available.

The Halloween Mickey Mouse mummy popcorn bucket is available at the popcorn stands in Magic Kingdom. We can’t wait until the Donald Duck candy corn sipper arrives!

It’s been a while since we have seen the park this empty. Especially this area in Fantasyland between Peter Pan’s Flight and “it’s a small world,” is normally one of the most congested areas in Magic Kingdom.

Your furry friend can rest in peace in this spooky Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy pet bed available in Memento Mori.

In Momento Mori, a hauntingly beautiful Haunted Mansion headband is now available. This headband is adorned with gems and coins featuring Madame Leota, and Hatbox Ghost. The inside of the headband is lined with the Haunted Mansion wallpaper.

Not only were the crowd levels very low as we walked around the park, but the wait times were incredibly low. The Haunted Mansion only had a 10 minute wait today as we passed by.

Your nightmares will come true with this “Trick or Treat” ornament featuring Huey, Dewey, and Louie. This ornament was found in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom. Our favorite part of this ornament is when you press the button it plays the song “Trick or Treat.”

In Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe you can get Minnie ear headbands and Mickey Mouse ear hats personalized for Halloween. This would be the perfect accessory for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
