Walt Disney World Looking for Cast Members to Transfer to TRON Lightcycle Run for Opening Team at Magic Kingdom

The much-anticipated TRON Lightcycle / Run recently was announced to be opening in Spring 2023 at the Magic Kingdom. Disney has now begun the process of looking for Cast Members to staff the long-delayed thrill ride.

To get ready for the ride’s opening, Walt Disney World is now offering transfer opportunities to Cast Members willing to join the team. Interested Cast Members are now able to apply by visiting The Hub. Candidates interested in Coordinator positions are invited to apply via Transfer Genie. Applications close at 11:59 p.m. on September 26.

Information sessions are scheduled to take place at Disney University on the following dates (registration required): 

  • Tuesday, September 20, from 4-5 p.m.
  • Friday, September 23, from 8:30-9:30 a.m.

  1. Very excited. I live in California….never been to Disney world. But have been waiting and waiting for Tron to be done. Also we still need a Tron3 to happen…..please. now update pirates like Shanghai. Looks amazing

  2. Why doesn’t Disney hire new workers? Or do they just want to keeping using the excuse of Covid. That way they can “limit” the amount of guests, to maximize the minimum amount of personal? Sound like another Chapek cost cutting move. We’ll just move people around and not hire anyone, still have the same amount of jobs, but increased the amount of attractions
