On our visit to Seuss Landing at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, we found Whoville was all decked out for the holidays.
Come with us as we take a stroll around and discover all the beautiful decorations.
With a large red banner that reads “Merry, Merry” and a green garland with multi-color ornaments and silver trumpets, the entrance to Seuss Landing is ready to herald the holiday season.
Passing under the entrance, we find Moose Juice, Goose Juice, a quick-service restaurant festooned with a draping garland and wreathes.
All along the way, lamp posts are adorned with large wreaths with green or red bows and garlands decorated with red, green, silver, and gold balls, spiraling down the post.
Strung tightly across some of the passageways is a garland with brightly colored stars in various forms.
Over at the Mulberry Street Store, which features a wide assortment of merchandise featuring popular Dr. Seuss characters, from The Grinch to The Cat in the Hat. The exterior of the shop has decorated garland bobbing and weaving around the oddly shaped turrets. Even the two giraffes are sporting wreathes around their necks.
At the intersection of Bliss and Mulberry Streets is Gertrude McFuzz Fine Feathered Finery merchandise shop and Stroller Parking.
The sweetest garland you’ll ever see runs all around the lower half of the roof.
The garland is decorated with glittery jeweled tone balls in turquoise and shades of purple. Wrapped candy and lollipops are interspersed throughout.
On either end of the awning, suspended from the garland, are two oversized pieces of wrapped candy – one in sparkling turquoise and the other in sparkling purple.
Even The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride queue lamp posts are decorated with a trio of varying sized silver bells edged in purple glitter and suspended by purple garland.
Over at All the Books You Can Read shop, a garland decorated with purple, red, silver, and chartreuse balls wraps around a towering stack of books on one side and piping on the other side.
Decorated garland also winds its way down pillars at the Hop on Pop Ice Cream Shop.
Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous serves burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. Holding open the entrance curtains are two elephants.
Garland that flows over and down the curtains wraps its way over the backs of each of the pachyderms. Let’s go inside and see how the circus gets ready for the holidays.
Large, decorated Christmas trees greet guests as they walk into Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous™. All of the trees feature an assortment of glittery chartreuse green and rich purple ornaments.
Decorated garland runs along the top of some of the alcove seating and wreathes hang in each of the windows.
The entryway leading to the ordering stations and cashiers is lined with swags of garland draped from red and white striped poles in green and red plaid planters.
The garland not only has a holiday, festive feel but is also quite celebratory as you walk underneath it.
Even the menu screens inside Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous are festive!
Just when you thought the Truffula trees couldn’t get more festive, think again! These trees are now adorned with ornaments, garland, and bows.
No trip to Seuss Landing is complete without visiting the Lorax. He is almost completely hidden behind a big, purple bow!
The sign at the entrance of One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish is now chock-full of poinsettia flowers.
Of course, the entrances to The Cat in the Hat and Cats, Hats and Things are both going to be decked with holiday decor as well.
The interior of Cats, Hats and Things features this beautiful silver tinsel and red ornaments throughout.
The opposite entrance to Seuss Landing now also has two giant Christmas trees!
As dusk sets in, we can see all of the beautiful Christmas lights around Seuss Landing!
Outside of Snookers and Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers, these tinsel candy canes light up red and white.
The entrance and windows at Cats, Hats and Things are lined with garland, ornaments, and blue lights!
Even the food carts like Fuddnuddler Brothers Popcorn are getting in the spirit with garland, ornaments, and lights!
