Step right up and see the newest wonder at Walt Disney World with the arrival of a new ear headband dedicated to Dumbo the Flying Elephant! This is the latest addition to the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction collection. Previous items inspired by the iconic attraction, including a plush, Loungefly backpack, and pin, were released last week.
Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction Dumbo the Flying Elephant Ear Headband – $34.99
The circus-inspired headband features a ringmaster’s hat, not unlike the one Timothy Q. Mouse wears.
The ears are covered in silver sequins, accented with a gold ribbon with a red stripe running through it.
The top of the hat is red, while the brim is blue with a gold ribbon. Between the two is a gold band with a red star emblem and a “magic” feather, like the one that got Dumbo to believe in himself to fly.
The headband is red, with a blue velour interior.
On the opposite side, the logo for Dumbo the Flying Elephant can be found.
The reverse side features a blue velvet-like material on the ears.
The Walt Disney World 50th anniversary logo is embroidered on one of the ears.
The tag has a short description of the ride, which has been around (and around and around) since 1971.
The description reads “Buckle up for a twirl on the Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction in the Fantasyland Area. First taking flight on October 1, 1971 in the Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort, this attraction features Dumbo-shaped vehicles with outstretched ears. And with a lever, you can move our beloved pachyderm up or down. Enjoy the view!”
We found this at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom.
