Recently, we reported on the opening of the new National Geographic store, which replaced the WonderGround Gallery, inside the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs. In our story, we detailed every single piece of merchandise that was available for sale.
During a visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, we discovered that a National Geographic boutique opened in one section of the Ziwani Traders shop, quite a natural fit for the conservation-focused theme park.
The shop has a large majority of the items found at the National Geographic Store at Disney Springs. In one corner there is a selection of nearly every science and craft toy including the National Geographic Rock Tumbler, National Geographic Digital Handheld Microscope, National Geographic Weaving Loom Craft Kit, a selection of dig kits, and more.
The rest of the shop has an extensive collection of outerwear and accessories for adults and kids
The pattern on the pullover hoodies (foreground) and drawstring sweat pants (far right) feature photographic imagery of the polar ice caps.
In the center, hanging below the shelf is the National Geographic Polar Ice Hooded Jacket for Women. The shell fabric and lining are made from recycled polyester. The body of the jacket is quilted and the interior has a bold printed glacier lining.
Also for sale are water bottles and a hoodie and sweatpants with an ocean wave print on a dark blue background. To the left, is a 1/4 zip jacket inspired by a National Geographic photograph of two king penguins.
We have also found many of these items available for sale on shopDisney.com.
