Prices have been increased on both custom lightsaber and droid building experiences in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Savi’s Workshop — Handbuilt Lightsabers experience, which allows guests to build their own lightsaber, has increased from $219.99 to $249.99.
The Droid Depot experience, which allows guests to make a custom-built astromech droid, has increased from $99 to $119.99.

For someone thats visiting from a foreign country like myself a custom lightsaber is very very expensive. Sad to see Disney not caring about there guests…
I’m gonna be there in three weeks and I already have my Droid depo reservation for like a month or so, will I pay the old price or the new one?
Unfortunately the new price applies regardless of when you made your reservation. I made reservations for Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop a few months ago and when I went earlier today, I needed to pay the new full price…
New one. I had a reservation. For Monday and I swapped it to Tuesday just cause of scheduling reasons with what we were doing and they charged me the new price. I was pissed cause had I kept my mi day reservation I would have paid the lower price. Keep in mind that in 2019 droids we’re 80 and savers were $200 so they had already increased prices once. It’s getting out of hand.
We were there a couple of days ago and we booked before the price rise too, we were charged the old price.
According to several cast members I spoke to earlier, the new prices just went into effect. this was on 10/18
