Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has kicked off for the season at Magic Kingdom. While the party may have taken a two-year absence, we still got to see Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at the Very Merriest After Hours event last year. The spectacular is back for 2022, and not much has changed as the park is still celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks 2022
The show’s description reads, “Get in the Christmas spirit as your host — Minnie Mouse — invites you to take in a sparkling, yuletide fireworks display. Watch as the sky becomes alight with festive colors to the tune of some of your favorite carols like Deck the Halls and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. This merry display can be thoroughly enjoyed from most locations throughout the Magic Kingdom — including Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.”
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks are performed once nightly at 10:00 p.m. ET.
The show debuted in 2019 as a replacement for Holiday Wishes.
The fireworks spectacular stars Minnie Mouse as she shares what she loves about the yuletide season, accompanied by classic holiday songs including “Carol of the Bells,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Deck the Halls,” as well as projections on Cinderella Castle, and of course, fireworks.
Guests can purchase a reservation for a dessert party during the fireworks, which includes a reserved viewing area. Learn more about the dessert party options and pricing here.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event taking place on select nights from November 8 through December 22. However, all park guests with tickets and reservations for the Magic Kingdom from December 23 through December 29 will be able to see Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. During this time, Disney Enchantment will not be performed.
