Just keep running, just keep running! Racers with the perseverance to complete all three-weekend events are awarded for finishing the runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge, complete with a medal featuring Nemo and his friends from all over the big blue world.

It will be interesting to see how future runDisney races proceed in the future, as Disney has recently changed their gifting policy for the thousands of volunteers that staff each race.

Disney relies on volunteers to help run their marathons. As a token of appreciation, Disney used to give volunteers a complimentary full-day theme park ticket. However, after this year’s Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, volunteers were reportedly given only a half-day ticket without prior notice. This change in policy may have come as a surprise to many volunteers who were expecting a full-day ticket as in previous years. It is unclear why Disney made this change or how long it will remain in effect.
