*NEW* Shrimp and Smoked Cheddar Cheese Rice Grits – $7.99

Sauteed shrimp, Tasso ham and trinity, in a pan sauce, over smoked cheddar cheese rice grits

The shrimp and grits made for an incredible dish.

We don’t even like grits and these were fantastic. They were thick and cheesy with a bit of acidity from the red sauce.

The shrimp are tiny and easy to eat.

We didn’t even realize there was ham in the dish, too, but the grits and sauce were the stand out elements.

We would definitely order this again.

*NEW* Yakamein – $9.99

Braised beef, poached shrimp, and a seven-minute egg, over noodles with a spicy beef broth

The egg was a huge success and cooked properly, but the broth tasted like water and the noodles tasted like bland spaghetti.

There was just no flavor at all. The only redeeming quality was the chork (chopsticks fork) has made a triumphant return.

Definitely skip the yakamein and go for the grits.

Category 5 Punch – $12 for 12 oz. single serve, $13.50 for 12 oz. souvenir cup, or $16.50 for 20 oz. souvenir cup

Myers’s Dark rum, Cruzan Aged Dark rum, passion fruit purée, mixed with grenadine, orange and lime juice

UOR USF 2023 Mardi Gras Category 5 Punch 1

The drink is returning from last year, but it’s gone down in quality significantly.

UOR USF 2023 Mardi Gras Category 5 Punch 3

It has a strange, sour aftertaste and is far too heavy on the syrups.

*NEW* Oh Baby – $12 for 20 oz. single serve or 12 oz. souvenir cup, $14.50 for 20 oz. souvenir cup

this custom brew is bursting with vanilla and cinnamon flavors on a base of sweet yet roasty malt

Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval runs from February 4 through April 16.
