Last year before its grand opening, Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle and Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro invited former Nickelodeon child star JoJo Siwa to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind a bit early. Now Vahle has extended that invitation once again, sharing their experience together on the soon-to-open TRON Lightcycle / Run on Instagram.
Vahle took to his Instagram today to share his ride with Siwa, stating “Last year, @itsjojosiwa helped me save the galaxy at EPCOT. This year, we hopped into the grid at Magic Kingdom for a race against Team Orange and WON!”
Plenty of outlets shared her experience as well, with the two Walt Disney World Ambassadors Ali and Raevon sharing a story on the Ambassadors’ Instagram page showing off Siwa’s arrival in one of the TRON-themed jackets which is likely to be sold once the attraction opens.
She reposted several of her fan’s posts showing off her experience highlights from other mediums like Snapchat as well on her own Instagram story.
In one Snapchat post she said “Some call him the president Walt Disney World [sic]…. I call him my riding buddy 🥳🥳🥳”
Siwa was just the first in a line of celebrities to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind last year, a list which also included Gloria Estefan and Dave Bautista among others. Last night Bruce Boxleitner and Cindy Morgan, the originators of Alan Bradley/TRON and Lora Baines/Yori in the original 1982 film were present at the media event for TRON Lightcycle / Run as well.
