Tom needs to clean house, so we decided to host the WDWNT Spring Cleaning Auction. Today at 12 p.m. eastern, Tom will be parting with over 300 personal items to benefit some WDWNT projects in our studio, museum, and beyond.

While the auction doesn’t officially begin until 12 p.m. eastern time today, you can go now to the auction website to look at the different items Tom will be parting with and even view a demo of how the auction will function when it goes live.

Auction Catalog Highlights

Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” has officially ended, decorations are being taken down, and merchandise is going away. But plenty of 50th Anniversary merchandise items will be part of the WDWNT Spring Cleaning Auction.

Items like this ear headband and iridescent pin were part of a Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Collector’s Box that was 1/2000. Other items from that box included a MagicBand, an Orange Bird snow globe, and even a Vinylmation. Those items will also be part of the auction.

Also up for bid will be this Main Street Electrical Parade 50th Anniversary Elliott plush. Main Street Electrical Parade is a fan-favorite and is rumored to return to Walt Disney World. Another item you can find as part of the auction is this Club 33 Classic Donald Duck plush.

Tom’s collection is littered with limited edition items from Disney Parks. One example is this Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Limited Edition Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Set. The set had a limited edition size of 3,000, only 800 of which were available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The hilt set comes in a collector’s box and is wrapped in orange cloth and protected with foam packaging.

On the inside of the box is a plaque with information about the set, including the edition number. This one is 1221.

Dozens of pins will be available for you to add to your collection as part of the auction, including this Featured Attraction Collection Rock ‘n Roller Coaster Limited Edition Pin. Rock ‘n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith went down for a lengthy refurbishment back in February 2023. It is not expected to reopen until at least Summer 2023. 

Another pin that will be available in the WDWNT Spring Cleaning Auction is exclusive to guests who boarded the Halcyon Starcruiser as guests at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser has been seeing a notable drop in demand. With a notoriously high price tag, with trips starting at $4,809 for two guests for a standard cabin, which has one queen-size bed and two twin-size bunks. The price increases if you add more guests, with a family of four looking at upwards of $6,000 for a standard cabin.

Pin collectors who would love to own the exclusive pin but aren’t planning to shell out the cash it would take to visit Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser in person can snag the pin today at the WDWNT Spring Cleaning Auction.
