Alligator Loki Shoulder Plush- $22.99
Loki fans can now walk around the parks with Alligator Loki on their shoulder.
We stopped at Keystone Clothiers today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and saw a brand new Alligator Loki shoulder plush. Lately, we’ve been seeing lots of new shoulder plush characters, including Abu from “Aladdin”, and Chuuby.
This shoulder plush is based on Alligator Loki, a variant of Loki from the Disney + series “Loki.” He debuted in Episode 4, “The Nexus Event,” and quickly became the most popular Loki variant, thus giving him his very own shoulder plush.
The alligator is featured wearing Loki’s signature golden Horned Helmet. The Horned Helmet was the helmet that Loki wore during his time as an Asgardian Royalty and during his crusades. The horns are a symbol of his sorcery.
The back of the shoulder plush is detailed with scutes, which are the bumps on an alligator’s back. Random fun fact — these scutes act as heat conductors for alligators.
Each shoulder plush comes with a small fabric-covered magnet pad and instructions on how to properly secure it to your shoulder.
“Loki” is a TV series based on the popular Marvel character, created for the Disney + streaming platform. It debuted on June 9, 2021, and consisted of six episodes. It was renewed for a second season that will debut sometime in 2023.
Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki for the series, which takes place after the events of “Avengers: End Game.” Spoiler alert: after Loki steals the Tesseract in “Avengers: End Game,” an alternate version (or variant) of Loki is brought to the Time Variance Authority (TVA). It is an organization that exists outside of time and space as we know it, and they monitor the timeline. Loki, the God of mischief, really brings meaning to his name in this thriller.
A Disney+ promotional video showed a peek at season 2, while leaked set photos revealed a new costume for Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie. In addition to the returning Hiddleston, Di Martino, Owen Wilson (Mobius), and Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15), Ke Huy Quan (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”) will be joining the cast.
Exclusive footage was shown at the D23 Expo last year but is unavailable online. According to Empire Magazine, the footage featured Loki back at the TVA and being pulled through time as he tries to warn everyone about Kang. Mobius and Hunter B-15 still don’t recognize him. It will connect to Marvel’s ongoing multiverse saga.
