Disney has revealed a line of “Indiana Jones” merchandise from a variety of retailers in preparation for the new film, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” that is due to release in theaters this summer. Included in this release is a jacket that retails at a starting price of $695.
Most of the merchandise is based on the franchise as a whole rather than the latest installment. Some of it, like the jackets, is available now, but most are set to be released at a later date.
‘Indiana Jones’ Merchandise
In addition to merchandise specifically catered to the upcoming film release, Disney has released information on merchandise for long-time “Indiana Jones” fans, including clothing, accessories, and toys that feature imagery and references hearkening back to earlier films within the franchise.
Loungefly With Attached Coinpurse – $90.00
This Loungefly features the iconic scene with Indy running from a giant boulder in “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.” The attached coin purse pictures the Golden Idol.
Loungefly Zip Around Wallet – $40.00
The faux-leather wallet has a brass zipper, and an illustration of the Golden Idol emblazoned on the side. The metal plate matches the one found on the Loungefly backpack.
Bomber Jacket – $495.00
The bomber jacket has an elastic waistband and wrist ribbing typical for this type of garment. Two front flap pockets and a zipper front are also featured.
The interior lining has a sepia-toned map with the company’s “US Wings” logotype embroidered onto a patch. It also features facts and quotes from the films, as well as a list of all the franchise’s movie titles and logos. The interior of the jacket erroneously claims Indy, or Dr. Henry Walton Jones, Jr., was born in “Prinston” rather than the proper Princeton, New Jersey, as is canon.
‘Indiana Jones’ Vintage Cowhide Leather Jacket – $695.00
The cowhide jacket has two front flap pockets and a zipper with snaps.
The back is adjustable with belts on either side.
Similar to the bomber jacket, this cowhide jacket has facts and quotes about the movie. The map graphic features a different layout. Likewise, the biographic information printed here erroneously lists Indiana Jones’ hometown as Prinston, New Jersey.
Kids’ ‘Indiana Jones’ Vintage Cowhide Leather Jacket – $195.00
If you love this look, your kids can also have the same jacket for several hundred dollars less. It is the same design as the adult’s jacket.
The interior lining has the same layout as the adult’s version. Interestingly, though, it appears the “Princeton, NJ” hometown is correct on the kid-sized jacket.
“Indiana Jones” and the company’s logo, US Wings, is embroidered onto the tag.
‘Indiana Jones’ Fedora – $59.95
The Indiana Jones Crushable Wool Fedora can be rolled-up or folded and will retain its shape when you’re ready to wear it. There is also a non-crushable version available. “Indiana Jones” branding can be found on the surrounding brown ribbon.
‘Indiana Jones’ Kids’ Fedora – $49.95
The Indiana Jones Kid’s Fedora is constructed from wool felt as well.
Baseball Cap: Fortune and Glory – $29.95
This cap features a metal plate that reads: “Indiana Jones Fortune & Glory; It’s not the years, it’s the mileage,” with a fedora atop the brand’s logo in the center.
Baseball Cap: Dark Fortune and Glory – $29.95
The darker version of this hat has the same text as above, embroidered on a patch.
