The Edna Mode Experience is returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 14 as part of a reimagined Pixar Place, where guests will also have a chance to encounter Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, and Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.”

Fabulous, dah-ling! Edna Mode has a full pop-up gallery, complete with some of her most avant-garde suit designs on display. Browse through her collection of suits and awards, and then meet the elusive designer herself!

According to Disney Parks, The Edna Mode Experience will be returning to Walt Disney World Resort in mid-May. Check out the official announcement below:

The Edna Mode Experience returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 14 as part of a reimagined Pixar Place, where you’ll also encounter Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, and Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.”

This attraction was initially opened during the 2019 “An Incredible Celebration” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, honoring “The Incredibles” as part of the park’s 30th Anniversary celebration.

An Incredible Celebration hosted a number of activities. We were there to experience the party during its big debut. We also documented The Edna Mode Experience, which included a pop-up Super Suit Gallery — sans capes, of course.

The Edna Mode Experience is an indoor meet and greet location located in Pixar Place. It was initially included as part of a directive to breathe life into the area after “Toy Story” exited the space with the addition of its own permanent land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The Edna Mode Experience queue weaves through physical popup examples of The Incredibles’ superhero outfits, complete with notes indicating what makes each suit special to the owner.

Framed artwork displaying Edna Mode’s fictitious achievements also pepper the walls, showcasing magazine covers, newspaper clippings and interview excerpts from the famous designer. When guests greet Edna, she is quick to point out her own fabulous attire as well as as the stylized, geometric artwork framed on the wall behind her.

This event was only briefly available to visitors before the parks closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Disney has announced a Pixar Place reimagining, but hasn’t released details on what that includes.

Pixar Place Character Meet and Greets

In addition to Edna Mode, various characters are available for guests to interact with, including Mr. & Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, and Sulley from “Monsters Inc.” We were able to meet up with some of these iconic favorites recently in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Disney has not released details on what is included in the reimagining of Pixar Place.
